Black Tea

It’s time to ditch the coffee, black tea is enriched which loads of caffeine that’ll help you get through those all-nighters and long mornings without that dreaded crash once the caffeine starts to wear off. Although this tea has the potential to give you your caffeine fix, it also has the qualities to reduce levels of stress and help you to concentrate better. Along with green tea, it has the benefits of preventing many cancers, especially ovarian and lung due to the high levels of antioxidants like polyphenols and catechins.

 

Camomile Tea

Feeling sad or anxious? Camomile is always here for you. Although camomile tea works on your physical body, fighting colds and boosting the immune system, It is widely known for reducing stress, anxiety, depression and even insomnia. Traditional healers have been recommending camomile tea as a natural solution to these problems for centuries. If your days are busy and demanding, and leave you feeling upset or stressed, a cup of camomile tea will easily relieve you of your worries. It is also known as the ‘night-time’ tea due to its sedative effects. It encourages a good night’s sleep and is claimed to prevent nightmares.

 

Green Tea

If there was an elixir to make you live longer, Green tea would be the closest to it. Green tea has many benefits; from assisting with weight-loss by speeding up the metabolism to even killing cancer cells without damaging the healthy tissue around them, green tea has got your back! It is also great for your skin and hair, nourishing them both and leaving you with a healthy glow. Green tea even acts as an anti-ager due to rich levels of antioxidants. Whilst helping your physical body, it is also performing less visible wonders. Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves which relieves you of stress and helps you feel relaxed and tranquil. These acids can also aid in relieving symptoms of depression and anxiety.

 

Peppermint Tea

Both refreshing and beneficial, just the pure aroma of peppermint tea can already start working it’s magic throughout your body. The main qualities that peppermint tea possess are the instant relief from an upset tummy or the terrible symptoms of cold and flu, this is due to its antibacterial properties. This tea can also work to alleviate headaches and tension, and for the ladies it can also ease the discomfort and pain during that time of the month.

 

 

 

White Tea

The superman of teas; white tea has the highest level of antioxidants because it is the least processed tea. These antioxidants are nutrients that protect your body from free radicals which are the nasty little things that damage and alter your body, white tea antioxidants neutralises them and act as a shield. This super tea also has the potential to fight cancer at the same level as some prescription drugs without the dreaded side effects. But it doesn’t stop there, drinking this bad boy can also protect you from heart disease, strokes, diabetes, arthritis and many viruses. So if I was you I’d be half way down to the shops to get some of this kryptonite for diseases.
